General

  • I am dissatisfied with a product I purchased from you 2 weeks ago. How do I get a refund?

    We offer a 28 day 'no quibble' returns policy. If you are dissatisfied with your product for any reason please let us know so we can put it right with either a replacement or refund.

    Contact us in the first instance on 01509 506564 or submit an enquiry using the link on the left of this page.

    Refunds or replacement will be made as long as the products are unused and are returned with the original packaging complete, undamaged and boxed as received.

    For faulty or damaged products we will provide a full refund.

    For other returns we reserve the right to deduct our carriage costs off the original cost to be refunded.

    In the event of a refund, please note the refund will be made through OPAYO .Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • I wish to order an item that is exempt from VAT. I notice it can be printed off on your web site. Can I email you the completed Exemption form?

     Unfortunately we cannot accept emailed VAT exemption forms since HM Customs require an actual signature from you. If you are entitled to VAT off the item then order at the price including VAT option and we will process your card at this price. Let us know you are entitled to the VAT off and we will be include an exemption form with your order for your signature and return.

    Alternatively you can print off a form here.

    If we don't receive your form within 10 days we will assume you should have paid the VAT and charge your card this extra amount.

  • Are you owned by the same people as the Numark Pharmacy near to me?

    There are over 4000 Numark member Pharmacies which are all independently owned and  belong to a the Numark trading organisation which represents their interests.

    If you have an enquiry which relates to a particular Numark pharmacy you will need to contact them directly.

    Other enquiries relating to the Numark representative body or concerning  Numark own label products should be sent to  Numarknet. 

Delivery

  • I notice the order I have just placed needs to be signed for on receipt. How do I change the delivery address details to that of my neighbor?

    Due to GPhC guidelines on medicines most orders are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is usually 48 hour signature on delivery.

    If no one is in to sign,a card is usually posted through your door informing you the package can be picked up at your local post office. If this isn't convenient for you we can send to your place of work or neighbor's address.

    Please email us any changes to your delivery instructions by using our enquiry form.

    For bulkier items we may use another carrier but in these instances will let you know first by email the expected delivery day.

Medicines

  • Do you sell medicines abroad.?

    Due to UK law we do not sell prescription only medicines abroad.

    The supply of other medicines to the USA is subject to the control of the US Customs and the FDA .As they cross the US border they may be delayed or not delivered at all.

    Numark pharmacy therefore does not currently supply medicines to America.

    For sales of Medicines to Europe All products sold or supplied by us must be authorised for use in the destination European Economic Area ( EEA ) country. We can only sell or supply a medicine to a specific EEA country if it is authorised for use in that country. This means that the medicinal product being sold or supplied has to be the authorised product, in its authorised packaging and language as agreed in the product authorisation. In addition some EEA countries do not allow medicines to be sold online in their country or they have other specific rules that apply.

    Therefore it is our responsibility to follow the law of the country so do not routinely send medicines abroad.

Prescriptions

  • Do you dispense NHS prescriptions ?

    We currently only dispense veterinary prescriptions for Human medicines under the cascade system for medicines shown in our online shop. NHS prescriptions at the moment are dispensed only to patients in the locality of our bricks and mortar pharmacy in Shepshed.

  • Can my Vet email you a prescription direct to you ?

    Yes, we accept prescriptions if emailed direct from the veterinary practices email address.

    Emailed prescriptions which contain schedule 2 or 3 controlled drugs though cannot be accepted.
