    Numark Sleep Aid is safe to use on a short-term basis to relieve temporary insomnia. However, the treatment should only be used for a continuous period of up to two weeks. If sleeplessness continues after two weeks, you should see your GP to investigate.

    In addition, you must consult your GP or a pharmacist before taking Numark Sleep Aid if you have:

    • Asthma, bronchitis or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
    • A narrow-angle glaucoma
    • An enlarged prostate or urinary retention
    • Moderate to severe liver or kidney disease
    • Myasthenia gravis, epilepsy or seizure disorders

     

    You should never use Numark Sleep Aid if you have had an allergic reaction to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in the medication.

    You should also never use Numark Sleep Aid if you have an obstruction in your stomach or gut.

    Can you overdose on Numark Sleep Aid ? An overdose of Numark Sleep Aid may result in extreme drowsiness, blurred vision, rapid heart rate, confusion, seizures, hallucinations and coma. An overdose of Numark Sleep Aid is very dangerous and if you experience any of these symptoms, or have taken too much, you must dial 999 or go straight to your local A&E.

    Can I drink alcohol with Numark Sleep Aid? Like Numark Sleep Aid alcohol is a sedative and can make you drowsy. For that reason, it is not safe to drink alcohol while taking Numark Sleep Aid

    Can I take Numark Sleep Aid while pregnant? It is generally safe to take Numark Sleep Aid while pregnant, but you should always check with your GP before using it.

    Caution Do not exceed the stated dose If symptoms persist and you feel like you are suffering with consistent insomnia please consult your doctor

    Side effects Generally, relate to drowsiness. Users can feel tired, unsteady, dizzy or find it difficult to concentrate after taking it. Additionally, users may also experience a dry mouth.
