Difflam Spray may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this spray if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other listed ingredients.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you have any of the following:

• If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs
• A history of asthma
• If you’re taking any other medicines

Side effects

Like all medicines, Difflam Spray may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. Side effects may include numbness and/or stinging in the mouth and/or throat.
